TAMPA, FL — The size of the airport cell phone parking lot here was increased, and recent additions include an electronic board with flight updates, restrooms and vending machines, WFLA reported.
The Jan. 29 article stated that the latest parking lot addition during the recently holiday season was food trucks.
Second airport launches valet/washing service
Chuck O'Brien, a limousine driver, said in the story he loves the idea. "It's nice because there's times when we don't have time to stop for lunch and you know we get a little bit of a break here waiting for our flights."
An airport official said there are other additions that are being considered for the master plan of the airport. A carwash, c-store and gas station are all under consideration for the cell phone lot.
