Carlo Gavazzi is launching a new long-range through-beam photoelectric sensor with a battery-powered emitter to be used with industrial doors and gates. Installation is quick and easy, since there is no need to bury cables underground or under pavement, or place them around door openings. It can be powered for up to 2.5 years on a pair of 3.6V lithium batteries. Sensing range can be set by the user at 15 or 30 meters.
The receiver can be powered by 12-24 VAC/DC. Lenses can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. Both the emitter and receiver are made of heavy duty polycarbonate material, suitable for outdoor use. An emitter-mute function allows the sensor to verify proper function before every operating cycle.
