MACON, GA — Pollen season’s early start has a carwash here experiencing record business, according to WMAZ.

The March 19 story stated that Chuck Duggan, owner of Fountain Express Carwash, has just finished the two most profitable weeks of business in the wash’s history.

“We’ve washed more cars in the last two weeks than we ever have,” Duggan said in the story. “We’ve been open since 2010, and it’s been the best two weeks ever.”

Duggan noted in the article that pollen season is always the busiest time of the year for the wash, especially since customers are ready to clean up their cars after cold and dreary winters.

The bad economy had Duggan worried about the carwash when it opened, but hope is now blooming this spring.
