Customers looking for a coffee, a bite to eat and a carwash are in luck, now that the Coffee Express has opened in the Perinton Car Wash complex.
Customers can also pick up a few groceries, drop off their mail and pick up or drop off video rentals.
General Manager Mike Ferrance said, “We are really trying to make this the most convenient stop of the day for our customers.”
The coffee shop, which opened in March, also offers a 1,500-square-foot dining area, free wi-fi, gourmet coffees, and ice cream.
The new Grease Monkey auto care center opened here on April 8.
Jim Holtschlag and his family will operate the newest franchise in the Grease Monkey chain.
Holtschlag is a graduate of the McPherson College Automotive Restoration Technology Program, and has been involved in the auto industry for 25 years. He is a car hobbyist and enthusiast, and a member of numerous national car clubs.
The new store will offer oil change and preventive maintenance services, as well as radiators, transmissions, differentials and various filters and belts and no appointment is needed.
Razoria County, TX
A Clean Ride Car Wash is going up here for the price of $1.4 million.
The wash, which will use biodegradable products, is being built on a 1.26-acre plot of land that once housed an auto dealership.
Partner and General Manager R.B. Powell said, “This is the first of three carwashes that I plan to open in Brazoria County,” adding that they plan on playing a very active role in the community.
The wash, as well as the ones that Powell hopes will follow, will offer four full-time positions and four part-time ones.
Wash prices will vary between $5 and $12 and customers will be able to donate to various charities when a wash is purchased.
“Each charity has a five digit code. When a customer selects the $12 car wash, $2 of that money will go to the charity of the customer’s choice,” Powell explained.
A new carwash is opening here that will offer up a lane just for schools or booster clubs trying to raise funds.
Ivory Price decided to open Maricopa Auto Spot due to the dearth of carwashes in the area.
The hand carwash will also offer detailing services and a mobile unit as well.
The fundraiser lane will be available on Saturdays. “Anything to support kids,” Price said.
A new tunnel carwash and dog wash facility has opened here and its owners are betting consumers have never seen the likes of its 3 minute wash service with radio frequency identification technology (RFID).
Towne Centre LLC chose environmentally safe and biodegradable cleaners for the new Xpress Tunnel Wash, as well as energy-efficient equipment and a water reclaim system.
The self-serve dog wash, named U-Doggie Wash, is located inside the lobby of the carwash, the release said. The station is stocked with regular shampoo, flea and tick shampoo and conditioner, and includes a dryer with low and high settings to keep pets comfortable.
The station, manufactured by TMC Dog Wash Solutions, is being billed as the only service of its kind in the market area.
Anff, Alberta, Canada
A new wash, built to wash busses, has opened here.
The self-serve, coin-operated wash is in the town’s industrial compound. It features a fleet card system and has equipment for washing wash regular cars as well.
Municipal Planning Commission member David Bayne said, “In a tourist town like we have I think it’s wonderful we now have a place you can wash a motor coach.”
The wash went up at the site of an older carwash that had been converted into a bottle depot.
