Over 230 readers weighed in for our “Green Attitudes” poll this month. The overwhelming majority felt being a green operator was important — but it didn’t seem there were as many putting those feelings into action. Less than 25 percent of our readers said they provide recycling bins for customers and employees, a rather simple measure to be environmentally-friendly.
According to a global survey of nearly 17,000 people conducted by Ipsos MORI, over half said they prefer to buy products and services from companies with good environmental reputations. The message seems to be sinking in; nearly 30 percent of our readers plan to market themselves as a green business in the future.
