Carwash employees get front row seat to crime scene

GRAND JUNCTION, CO — The Splish Splash Car Wash here was seen of a police chase and arrest, 11News reported.

The April 25 story said police were trying to track down a man and woman who where on the run from police for drug related warrants. The two ended up ditching their truck behind the Splish Splash Car Wash and Lacey Moss took off on foot, running right past employees who were cleaning out the trash. Moss then feel into a ditch and police arrested her.

"I was cleaning trash cans, and cleaning up all of our vacuum posts and all that, and next thing you know a lady with a backpack comes running by me," employee Larry Metcalf said in the story.

The male, Jerod Wade, also took off on foot, but has not been caught by police.
