PLAINVIEW, NY ― Labor laws and unionization are slated as the topics of discussion for this year's New York State Car Wash Association (NYSCWA) membership meeting, which will take place here at the Hilton Garden Inn Melville on Tuesday, July 17, according to a press release.
The July 12 press release said the meeting, which will run from 9:30 a.m.- 12 noon, is open to members as well as any prospective members.
Labor and Employment lawyer Dennis Lalli of Bond Schoeneck & King in New York, and his associate Ray Pascucci will speak at the meeting and will talk about how to best prepare for possible audits and unionization.
NYSCWA Executive Director Suzanne Stansbury said in the press release, “The information and wealth of knowledge available at this meeting will be impressive. It will also provide New York state operators with the tools and resources they need to be in compliance.”
NYSCWA lobbyist William Crowell of Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna in Albany, will also be on hand to discuss a new legislative update.
