A good explanation and demonstration of the hot water extraction process, but there is room for improvement. Vacuuming or some other process to remove dry soils like sand, grit, gravel and such prior to wet cleaning will allow the wet cleaning process to proceed faster and will not require as much cleaning agent. High foaming cleaners will reduce the efficiency of the extraction (water and soil vacuuming). High foam products also require time to wipe away excess foam. There are some very good cleaners with less foam. These can save time.

For floor mats that are removed from the car - scrubbing and then power-washing is the best method - it is quicker and removes more filth than any other method - high foam is unnecessary and only attracts more dirt when used on interiors. I usually do not comment on detailing and give away my secrets but here is one for you, enjoy.
