KENNEBUNK, ME — Kevin Thyng of Kevin Thyng Detailing said in a Seacoastonline profile that he takes a lot of pride in each vehicle he details.
The May 23 story quoted Thyng who said, "I want to make sure that when that vehicle leaves I'm very proud of what I've done, I want to take care of the people. I'm that kind of person. When their car leaves I want them to be happy."
Thyng, who was a painter for years before becoming a detailer, started his own business so that he could make his own schedule and take care of his 91-year-old mother-in-law.
Each car takes about eight hours and he charges about $225 for a full detail job and $125 for just the interior.
