VENICE, CA — A protest was held yesterday at the Millennium Car Wash a year after a class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of Millennium employees.
Students, faith and community leaders joined the “carwasheros” in picketing the carwash, according to the Patch.com story. They will also be hand delivering letters in support of the employees to carwash management.
The lawsuit alleges Millennium management denied employees proper breaks, withheld overtime pay and forced them to arrive early to work.
