Foam Plus is designed for applicators used within the wash process. It is available in a variety of colors and scents.
Liquid Polish is an add-on service designed to aid in rejuvenating the vehicle surface. It is also available in a variety of colors and scents.
WOBURN, MA — Daimer Industries, Inc® has announced the release of the upgraded XTreme Power® XPH-5900IU compact carpet cleaner, the XTreme Power® XPH-9600, a portable carpet cleaner with self monitoring technology, and the Super Max™ 15700 pressure washer
The steam cleaner offers a 170 PSI pressure level.
“Our XPH-5900IU carpet cleaners pack more power, but are compact enough for performing challenging cleaning tasks, especially in tight spaces," says Matthew Baratta, Daimer Industries, spokesman in a press release. "Daimer is proud to offer a machine that meets the demands of the market for powerful, compact equipment. The machine is ideal for upholstery cleaning and auto detailing customers."
The XTreme Power® XPH-5900IU features high temperature, low flow technology, easy recovery chamber drainage, faster heating times and lower drying times.
The machine comes with Daimer’s Eco-Green® Carpet Care and Upholstery Cleaner concentrate during the promotional period.
The XTreme Power® XPH-9600 features enhanced temperature and pressure levels, continuous refill and low-flow technologies.
“Traditional carpet cleaning machines with low pressure and lack of heat do not provide effective cleaning results when removing tough deposits, stains, and food spills from within commercial and residential carpeted areas,” Daimer Spokesperson Matthew Baratta said in a press release. “Professionals in the cleaning business require superior machines with enhanced technologies that maximize productivity and yield the most satisfactory results in the eyes of customers.”
Daimer bundles two gallons of Eco-Green® with the XTreme Power XPH-9600.
The Super Max™ 15700 pressure washer uses 1500 psi and 5 gpm flow rates. Water can be heated in the unit using heating oil, kerosene or diesel.
“Eliminating dirt, grease, tree sap, oil, brake dust, and bugs from car exteriors is only possible if effective machines with the right features are utilized,” said Matthew Baratta, Daimer spokesman, in a press release. "Daimer is glad to launch a machine that generates temperatures as high as 330ºF to dissolve the most stubborn deposits of dirt from the exterior surfaces of cars.”
The Super Max™ 15700 also features Thermal Optimized Projection Steam™, Automatic-Shutoff Technology™ Modular system design™ and Self-Maintenance Engineering™ technologies.
Shades Holdings, Inc. announced their acquisition of Shades of Fragrances, Inc. yesterday.
Lucien Lallouz was named CEO and President of Shades Holdings, Inc. in conjunction with the move, according to a press release.
“Our first priority is to bring the company current with its filings with the SEC,” Lallouz said in a statement. “Our long term objective is for the Company to become a luxury & lifestyle brand developer, through licensing agreements with emerging fashion designers and established celebrity brands, including our own proprietary trademarks.”
Lallouz plans on acquiring more brands for the company in his new role.
TAMARAC, FL— Sonny’s Enterprises, Inc. was given the Broward County public schools Project-Based Learning Partnership Award during the annual Community Involvement awards ceremony last Tuesday.
Sonny’s CEO Paul Fazio accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Sonny’s has served as an educational partner to the FIRST Robotics team and the Machining and Drafting Apprenticeship Program at the Atlantic Technical Center and Technical High School since 2004.
“The depth of knowledge and talent these young professionals have is amazing. We are truly honored to work with such outstanding individuals” said Paul Fazio in a press release. “Sonny’s is proud of the accomplishments the students in these two outstanding programs have achieved and fully supports preparing today’s youth for tomorrow’s challenging workforce.”
The FIRST Robotics team builds robots for competitions and has won numerous state awards.
The Machining and Drafting Apprenticeship program trains 30 students each year with 100 percent of the participants from the last five years pursuing an undergraduate degree.
BARRIE, ONTARIO, CANADA — MacNeil Wash Systems displayed three new products. The “state-of-the art” products were on display at the Southeastern Car Wash Association Trade Show.

The XR1000 Conveyor features a “take-up” design that requires no greasing or regular maintenance. The brand new conveyor system also features low-profile guide rails, a 14” wide deck a 1/2” steel top deck and dual call up cylinders for a quiet operation.
The Quad Pak RS701/RS400 Combo Wrap “puts more cleaning power into a smaller compact space.”
Also on display was the RS1000 Evolution Top Brush.
GRIMES, IA — Ryko Solutions has appointed Jesse Wurth as their new Chief Financial Officer following their recent acquisition of MacNeil Wash Systems.
Wurth had previously served as Vice President of Finance for The Weitz Company, according to the press release.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The Hydraulic Institute has appointed Mark J. Sullivan as its new Director of Education and Training.
According to a press release, Sullivan will lead all strategic development, marketing, PSM educational programs and personnel certification initiatives.
“To support our ongoing growth with Pump Systems Matter, we are pleased to have Mark join our HI and PSM organizations, bringing his marketing educational/training background and industrial knowledge base,” says Robert Asdal, Hydraulic Institute’s executive director. “We are confident he will further expand our reach in leading new educational programs to advance the global pump industry and build a stronger value proposition to pump users.”
Sullivan most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
BARRIE, ONTARIO, CANADA — MacNeil Wash Systems has named John Sorenson as its Central Regional Sales Manager, a press release reported.
The July 1 release stated that Sorenson, who will serve the Central Region of the United States, previously served as general manager of Arizona Car Wash Systems.
“John’s extensive knowledge of our industry-leading products and services, past presence as a distributor, and comprehensive understanding of the car wash business will be a valuable asset to our entire company,” Anthony Antonis, vice president of sales stated on the press release.
