LEIGH, MANCHESTER, ENGLAND — Local Planning Officers have recommended the Southend Council to shut down what they have determined to be an illegal carwash following complaints of increased traffic and noise.
The Planning Officers told the Council that the carwash did not have planning permission to begin with.
The business owners say that they have always washed cars on the site, which includes a used car lot and vehicle repair shop.
According to the Echo story, the council will rule on the issue next Wednesday.
