Sonny’s CarWash College goes on the road

Braselton, GA — CarWash College made a special two-day road trip in late August,

to Braselton, which is northeast of Atlanta, to help tunnel and express operators    become more familiar with their equipment and ultimately become more successful.

Car Wash Services of the Southeast, a Sonny’s SSO based in Lawrenceville, GA, was the host of this first CarWash College held outside of Tamarac, FL. More than 200 technicians, managers and owners attended and participated in this two-day, content-rich meeting.

Robert Andre, President of CarWash College, and Anthony Analetto, President of Sonny’s Tunnel Equipment, were the major presenters.

“My dad thought CarWash College was the best thing we ever did in the 60 plus years we have been in business,” stated Paul Fazio, Sonny’s CEO.

Based on the unanimous response of the attendees, the Atlanta road show would have pleased Sonny Fazio tremendously.

“The class was great, and I was engaged throughout the course,” said Dwayne Garmon, of Snappy Express. “I learned a lot that I can take back to my wash.”

Randy Ready of Fast Trac Car Wash agreed. “Great presentation, great facility, a great overall meeting,” Ready noted. “My team was educated and engaged in all the presentations. Better than Vegas.”

The first day of the meeting dealt with troubleshooting, diagnosing and then correcting common problems found in different pieces of equipment. Four separate work stations were placed in different work areas, and technicians received hands-on training and pointers from Sonny’s factory personnel. The training and presentations were helpful for both experienced and new to industry car washers.
