Coach Hurley, who has built Saint Anthony High School, in Jersey City, NJ, into a national basketball powerhouse, will share with us how he has been able to steer hundreds of former players to a college education, many the first of their families to reach that goal. What we can all learn from this coach is how to overcome obstacles and thrive – and make a real difference in the lives of so many. Mark Curtis, ICA President, is CEO of Splash Car Washes, with16 locations, including everything from self-serve to flex serve to full serve, with five oil change operations and detail shops at each of the 16 sites. Splash Car Washes is celebrating its 32nd year in business. Currently Mark serves as the president of ICA having served on its board previously from 1999 to 2001, and currently since 2008. He served on the Connecticut Carwash Association board from 1994-2001, the last five years as president. The primary topics for discussion will be new ICA initiatives and the growth of WaterSavers and Washcount.

Held at the Hard Rock Café, located at the Trump Taj Mahal, the NRCC has teamed up with Restore the Shore in an effort to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy who are still impacted by the devastating hurricane last fall. Great food, great music and an open bar of beer and wine! A silent auction and raffles will top the night. The goal is to raise $10,000. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early.

Thomas L. Ledbetter, J.D., LL.M, is a co-author of Get Out Alive! – a guide to extracting full value
from your business. His company, Business Transition Network, LLC, specializes in business succession and exit planning. He writes, lectures and conducts workshops on the subject of exit planning. Tom began his career as a tax lawyer in Philadelphia with a law degree from University of Michigan Law School and a Masters in Tax from Georgetown Law School. He now lives and works in Ft. Myers, FL. In this session, Ledbetter teaches how to avoid mistakes and make an exit plan.
