Provide a family touch on social media

Keith Caldwell, vice president of All Paws Pet Wash, explained why social media is a perfect fit for pet washes. “We live in a social world and dogs in bathtubs make for cute picture posts. Pets are part of the family. … I have seen countless, ‘first time in a pet wash’ photos posted to social media.” The family environment that pet washes create is something that can have reputational value for your carwash as well. People love their pets, and if they associate their pets with your carwash, then you’ll have a loyal customer.

There’s more to social media, than just posting cute pictures of a dog in a pet wash. It’s a chance to communicate relevant information to your customers, said Caldwell. “New heater? New soap?
