- Got A Question?
With the advancement of car wash chemistry there has been a shift to concentrated chemicals that are packaged in smaller containers. With the introduction of concentrated chemicals from many different suppliers, it's often difficult to be able to easily compare them. The comparison of products and price is no longer drum for drum.
Some products that now are available in smaller packaging are considered concentrated, while others are considered ultra concentrated or hyper concentrated. It is important to be knowledgeable of what the supplier is offering and, most importantly, your cost per car with each of these products. The cost per car will provide you with a good comparison between products. Be sure to look into all the other benefits that the product can provide. Look at the amount of car washes that each container can supply. If you continuously have to refill or change a container, you might not be getting what you were looking for both in cost and in handling.
Different products can also provide different operational benefits. Handling, recycling, ease of use, and flexibility are all possible benefits and savings when choosing a chemical. If a new chemical requires more monitoring or handling, it just might not be worth the hassle or extra labor.
It is important that you become knowledgeable of any potential concentrated or ultra concentrated chemical to make sure that it will reduce your overall cost and/or provide the additional benefits that you are looking for in the end.
