Not only is LED lighting a great way to improve the look of your bays, said Jason Baright, president of G&G LED, but the lights can pay for themselves in one to two years, he continued.

The savings in energy costs are a great reason to switch to LED, said Glenn Mitchell, director of LSI Hamilton Lighting. “With energy costs rising ... it makes sense to make the change to a low energy, low maintenance cost light source.” Energy costs can be reduced by 60-70 percent with LEDs, said Baright.

Unlike typical lightbulbs, LEDs don’t burn out, but instead fade over time, so a customer can expect up to 100,000 hours of life out of a quality LED product, notes Baright.

The price of LED lighting continues to drop, notes the experts, so this is the time to buy.
