NEWTON, Kan. — Water is becoming an increasingly precious resource due to things like drought and rising utility bills, and a new product may help with that, according to The Kansan.

David Mefford, the owner of Dave’s Detail, is introducing a product he created called “waterless wash,” which can clean vehicles without water.

The product comes in a spray bottle, which allows the user to dispense a mist on the vehicle’s exterior, and then wipe it down, notes the article.

The product, states Mefford in the article, is environmentally friendly, and will save money on water bills.

Currently, it is being bottled in-house, with Mefford looking to expand it to retail outlets and across Kansas.
