LOWELL, Mich. — State police launched an investigation on May 28 into money stolen from an area carwash, according to mlive.com.
The two suspects, according to police in the article, are believed to have put a paper bill along with another object into the machine, which led to it overriding the coin dispenser. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the machine, notes the article.

There were several hundred dollars stolen from another area carwash on May 29, the article noted. A similar crime happened at another local business on June 4.
One of the washes captured footage of the two men, believed to be ages 19 and 25, in the act of committing the crime.
