PORTLAND, Ore. — Seth T. Dahlberg only worked five days at Eco Car Wash before being fired for what he claims was a “minor” epileptic seizure, according to The Oregonian.
Dahlberg is suing the wash for $150,000; $50,000 for economic damages, and $100,000 in non-economic damages for emotional distress. According to the lawsuit, he told his supervisor he was epileptic, but that medication had controlled the seizures.

After the seizure at Eco, Dahlberg visited a doctor, and was given medication and a note not to return to work for a few weeks. The suit states that the note served as a “request for accommodation” under Oregon law.
The suit also claims, notes the article, that Dahlberg called his supervisor to relay this information, and was then fired.
