HIGHLAND VILLAGE, Texas — Dream’s And Brothers Hand Car Wash shutdown abruptly after what one of the owners, Afis Olajuwon, described as lease problems, according to Click2Houston.com.

Olajuwon said those who purchased loyalty packages were entitled to a refund by going to the company website to find a number to contact. The article notes that after the Click 2 team visited the site, they could not find the number.

One customer, Ron Logan, said he paid $360 for an unlimited wash package, with the business closing two months into his plan.

Logan is more upset about the poor communication and principle than the money. "In this case they even had my name and phone number," he said. “They could've picked up the phone and said, 'Hey, we closed. We know we owe you money.' But they never have."

Olajuwon Holdings, along with Afis Olajuwon, who is the brother of basketball superstar Hakeem Olajuwon, are the owners of the wash. It’s unknown whether or not the two-time NBA champ was involved with the carwash, notes the article.
