Campaign to announce carwash contract victory

SANTA MONICA, CA — The CLEAN Carwash Campaign plans to announce a landmark victory here, according to a press release.

The Oct. 25 release stated that this contract victory is part of an effort to end decades of abuses suffered by Los Angeles carwash workers.

Labor leaders, elected officials and community partners from across the city will stand with CLEAN carwash workers to welcome their first major contract victory, according to the release.

The announcement will take place at Bonus Car Wash, and it will be attended by carwash workers, union members and city councilmembers, the release noted.
