NORTH TONAWANDA, NY — Thousands of dollars were stolen from two dog wash machines at a carwash here, according to BuffaloNews.com.

The Dec. 30 story stated that surveillance cameras captured footage of two suspects breaking into the dog washes at Zach’s Car Wash and stealing $4,000.

During the robbery, the driver backed the getaway car into a concrete post in front of the store, the story noted. Camera footage showed one of the thieves getting out of the car to inspect for damage.

The carwash’s owners have offered a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest, the story stated.
