CEO of Mark VII resigns

ARVADA, CO — Murray Kennedy has resigned from his post as CEO of Mark VII Equipment Inc., the US subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, according to the company’s website.

The July 12 announcement said that Steve Jeffs, who has been serving as the company’s vice president of sales for the past four years, has been named as the new president and CEO.

Kennedy, who said he is leaving his post to pursue other opportunities, will officially step down on September 2, 2011.

It was also announced that Rainer Springs has been named the new COO. Springs has been serving as a manager of WashTec’s European organization.

Thorsten Krueger, spokesman for WashTec AG, said in the announcement, “Steve is the logical choice to run our U.S. organization. Murray has done a great job of managing the company for the past five years. Steve and Rainer will continue our successful strategy with a seamless transition.”
