LAKE OSWEGO, OR — A carwash customer here hit the gas instead of the brake, and her car ended up in a nearby park, The Oregonian reported.

The Dec. 26 story stated that Mary Sanaee, 77, was leaving Kaady Car Wash when she mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal.

The mistake sent her car across the street where it ended up atop a boulder in the neighboring park. Sanaee was not injured in the accident, according to the story.

The carwash manager said in the story that all he could do was watch the car zoom across the street.

A picture of the “parked” car can be seen here.
