Customer makes unusual discovery at carwash

February 14, 2012

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC — A pastor here said one of his church members came across an urn containing ashes while washing his car at the Splash-N-Dash carwash in upstate New York, a wspa story said.

The Feb. 10 story said urn apparently contained the ashes of Kenneth Douglas Wilson of Tennessee who passed away in 1998.

The Spartanburg County Coroner was able to track down Wilson’s family in Tennessee.

Apparently a family member had accidentally left the urn behind and was embarrassed by the incident.

Fortunately there will be a happy ending. Cleaning any area where customers can put trash can be a litte scary. We have had some nasty surprises, and I've always been prepared for about anything. Sometimes it is amazing the things people toss out and how wasteful they can be.
