ALVA, OK — When a sheriff’s deputy arrived at the Tidal Wave Car Wash here, he found a car hanging over an embankment and an unsteady driver, according to The Alva Review-Courier/Newsgram.

The March 27 article stated that the driver, Timothy Allen Weaver, had the odor of alcohol on his breath, and he also had slurred speech.

Weaver told the deputy that he was in line for the carwash when another vehicle nearly struck his car. Weaver put his car in reverse and hit the accelerator; then he struck the curb and went over.

After field sobriety tests and an arrest, Weaver admitted that he drank four beers and two shots of Jack Daniels earlier in the evening. Also, a pouch with green pills was found in Weaver’s pocket.

Weaver was charged with aggravated DUI, driving a motor vehicle while license is suspended and unlawful possession of a controlled drug without a valid prescription.
