FAIRFIELD, CT — A man here has been arrested after bags of drugs were found in his car by a carwash employee, The Daily Fairfield said.

The Jan. 23 story said Matthew Gromiller, 40, had returned his rental to the Hertz Rental Car, and it was so filthy it had to be taken to a local carwash.

A carwash employee uncovered two bags containing a white powder. Police were called to the scene, and the white powder turned out to be PCP.

Police then tracked down Gromiller at a hotel where he was arrested. He was charged and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
