State College, PA
The Redline Speed Shine carwash here has been doing well, therefore the owner has decided to open up a second location.

The second location will not have a tunnel, detail bay or pet wash, like the first location does; and will instead have self-serve and a touch-free and two friction automatic bays.

Owner Tom Gravine said, “Redline one has taken off and exceeded our expectations. The land came available at a really good price, so we decided to strike while the iron is hot.”

Bixby, OK
Auto Haven Mobile Detail now has a permanent home here, which has been regarded as a city that is growing at a rapid pace.

Co-owner John Hamilton said, “We’re thrilled to have our new home in Bixby. We look for-ward to connecting with this community and contributing to the local economy while serving our customers and their vehicles for many years to come.”

The eco-friendly business, which uses an 85-point check cleaning system, offers a complete detailing package deal for $180.

Hamilton added, “Our business model is simple. We guarantee our detailing and the best customer service our clients will ever receive.”

“Our recent relocation means we’re keeping our business cen-tered on our customers and is a re?ection of our vision to continue taking care of their vehicles.”

Brandywind, Mexico
A vast auto detailing center has opened here called Grupo Comercial Mexicano.

The center will feature 3D International LLC supplies and products.

3D General Manager Juan de Rada was on hand at the grand opening of the center and had the honors of cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Rada said he was pleased to be a part of the new business venture.

East Dundee, IL
Plans for a new car and pet wash here have been approved and it should be open by next spring.

The carwash will be a three-minute express wash and the pet wash will cost $7 for the first 10 minutes.

Construction began mid-October and the owner said the grand opening celebration will include a week of free washes.

Village Trustee Mike Ruffulo said he’s looking forward when it opens. “It’s going to bring people to [the] corner, and they’re going to use water. Our main sources of revenue are collecting taxes and selling water.”

White Plains, NY
The auto and marine detailing company Topside Detailing LLC already has multiple mobile locations throughout the Northeast and has now added mobile units at the Trump Tower at City Cen-ter and at The Ritz Carlton in New Rochelle, NY.

Co-owner Parth Thaker, said, “Both Trump and Ritz Carlton are residential buildings that give their occupants the opportunity to make use of an online system called ‘Building Link’ for any community amenities. They can use this system to find services ranging from dry-cleaning to paying their rent — and our detailing services, too.”

Thaker added that even non-residents can still use their services at their office or home.

Liverpool, England
A waterless carwash has opened here which uses a spray and buff method and WOW shine products.

The carwash’s founder Darren Humphrey and his business partner Joe Costello said they opened their first location in Liverpool because they know drivers their like to look good and like for their cars to look good, too.

Shopping centre Manager Iain MacGilli-vray said in the story, “The Car Wash Company has only been operating in our car park a short time, but we’ve already had a lot of interest and people are already begin-ning to return to have their cars cleaned again. It’s a fantastic idea and far better for the environment than taking your car to a hand carwash or doing it yourself.
