Chevron announced that it will forgive unamortized incentive balances, provide gas discounts to consumers, and repair/replace damaged signs at no cost as part of a new hurricane relief program.
The new program is named Chevron & Texaco Hurricane Area Recovery Effort (CARE) and will also feature waiving sign and Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) rental, as well as EPOS connectivity fees to select marketers and retailers hardest hit by recent hurricanes in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas.

A new Sheetz convenience store hopes to build one of its new restaurant-style gas stations in Buffalo Township, which would include a carwash and 14 gas pumps.

ExxonMobil has reached an agreement with the US Environmental Protection Agency concerning regulations under the federal Clean Air Act (CAA).
Actions taken by the company under the agreement are expected to reduce harmful air emissions by more than 53,000 tons per year of nitrogen oxide and sulfer dioxide at the company's seven US petroleum refineries.
