Police free child locked in car at wash

May 10, 2012

EUFALA, AL — Police responded to a call at a carwash where a child was locked in a car, The Eufala Tribune reported.

The May 8 story stated that a woman accidentally locked her child in her car at the Go Clean Carwash.

Larry Hubbard, a sergeant with the Eufala Police Department, said in the story that it was of concern because the car was not running and it was a warm day.

Officers were able to open the car and get the child out within 10 to 15 minutes, including response time.
