ALEPPO, SYRIA — A bomb exploded at a carwash here, and the blast reportedly killed five to six people, according to sky NEWS.
The May 6 story said bomb attacks have become more common in Aleppo, Syria’s largest city. Aleppo is an important economic hub that previously stayed out of the revolt against the Syrian president that began almost nearly 14 months ago.
Aleppo activist Mohammed Saeed said in the story that the bombed carwash was owned by a man who serves in pro-government militias.
Even so, the Free Syrian Army of rebels, one of the largest armed groups, denied reports that it had claimed responsibility for the bomb blast.
