LAS VEGAS — More than 5,700 attended The Car Wash Show™2012 here this week, according to a press release.
The May 9 release by the International Carwash Association® (ICA) said preliminary data shows that attendance at the show increased by 4 percent over the last two years’ attendance figures, and more than 7,000 carwash locations were represented.
At the show, the ICA inducted Bill Martin of Metro Express Car Wash in Boise, Idaho, into the Car Wash Hall of Fame; officially launched its new Wash Count business intelligence program; and announced several enhancements to the WaterSavers® environmental recognition and marketing program.
“We see the increase in attendance at The Car Wash Show™ 2012 as an indicator that the car wash industry is on a path of renewed growth, and are looking forward to serving an even greater number of operators and suppliers with this event in the future,” said Eric Wulf, CEO of the ICA.
