ROCKVILLE, MD — Wash Depot Holdings Inc. and Sparkling Image Corp. continued their alliance here with Warfighter Sports, a program of Disabled Sports USA, Digital Journal reported.
The May 17 release stated that the carwashing alliance will raise money for sports rehabilitation programs in military hospitals and communities across the U.S. The organization has a network of over 100 community-based chapters that serve severely wounded service members.
Wash Depot Holdings is a national carwash company that markets under five carwash brands including Simoniz and Eager Beaver. This year, the company is teaming up with Sparkling Image Corp. to pledge proceeds from their semi-annual wash book promotions. Last year’s programs with Disabled Sports USA raised $65,000.
Wash Depot’s Director of Marketing, Joseph Solis, said in the release, “It’s simply a wonderful program that we are proud to support for a second year. The public can visit any of our carwash or oil change facilities through Father’s Day, and we’ll donate proceeds from the sale of wash books and oil change gift certificates.”
Disabled Sports USA has served wounded warriors since 1967, offering 30 winter and summer sports at more than 100 events each year. Contributions cover all expenses for participation, including adaptive instruction, adaptive equipment, transportation, lodging and meals for the warrior and family member.
