Golf clubs lead police to carwash thieves

May 24, 2012

HUNTSVILLE, AL ― Two men were arrested after cops found stolen goods, as well as coins, which were taken from a carwash, inside of their vehicle during a traffic stop, The Huntsville Times reported.

The May 23 story said Billy Joe Goble, 23, and Michael Nudy Prentice, 24, were stopped by police around 1 a.m. last night. Police found a set of golf clubs and tools that were apparently taken from a vehicle parked at the Five Points carwash here. A large amount of coins were also found inside the car (when it was later impounded) which were apparently stolen as well.

Both men were taken to jail and are being held on $15,000 bonds.
