STRATHAM, NH — Though he’s had a detailing company here for five years, Jordan Gauvin just graduated from the University of New Hampshire, Seacoastonline.com reported.
The July 5 story said Gauvin, founder of WickedClean, is proud that his business “survived the critical five-year point.” The business’s success “is a testament to the quality product we provide our customer base.”
Though he started off meticulously hand cleaning cars, Gauvin now uses various chemicals and cleaning techniques that have increased efficiency. The business uses a hot water extractor, buffers, compressors and steamers. Other new services include ozone odor removal, headlight restoration and boat and plane detailing.
After “shooting from the hip” for the first couple of years, WickedClean has also improved efficiencies by shifting to electronic scheduling, learning how to market, managing employees and keeping up a client base.
The mobile service makes house calls, has corporate accounts and is looking to nurture relationships with car dealerships.
