VINELAND, NJ ― Alberto Diaz, 39, an ex-employee of Super Suds Carwash, has been arrested for robbing the carwash to pay off a loan shark, The Daily Journal reported.
The Dec. 18 story said Diaz apparently stole a compressor, a heater blower and a leaf blower, which together are valued at $1,100. All of the items were locked up in a storage shed on the carwash property.
When questioned by police, Diaz admitted he took the items.
“He then contacted an individual he described as a ‘loan shark’ whom he owed money to, to pick up them up,” a police report stated.
