March 28, 2013

BROOKFIELD, WI — A customer here is claiming her .38 revolver was stolen during a carwash, BrookfieldNOW reported.

The March 26 story stated that the 78-year-old customer remembered having the pistol in the front seat fold-down armrest the day before.

At the carwash, she exited the car and an employee drove it into the wash. When her car was returned, the woman said the gun was missing.

She immediately told the wash management, and police responded. After interviewing employees, checking surveillance video and searching nearby bushes and trash, they did not find anything suspicious.
