Student proposes detailing for business challenge
BATON ROUGE, LA — Four entrepreneurs are scheduled to pitch businesses here to a panel of judges. Up for grabs is a share of $25,000 as part of the Second Annual Venture Challenge hosed by the University Student Incubator, The Daily Reveille reported.
The April 18 story stated that one business idea was a mobile detailing operation. A general business senior will represent Supedup Auto LLC, a detailing service "with a twist."
“It’s a professional mobile vehicle cleaning service that will be operating out of a van fully equipped with professional equipment,” Gary Shuford said in the story.
The co-founder of the operation will operate the van and drive to detailing customers around the city.
Four business plans were chosen to complete, and five judges will be present from the business community to score the plans. They will also determine the prize money the businesses receive.
