Former employee brings machete to carwash
PALMER TOWNSHIP, PA — A former employee of Rudy's Car Wash has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and disorderly conduct after he apparently went to the carwash armed with a machete, The Express Times reported.
The May 20 story said Vernon Fountain, 23, went to the carwash around 6 a.m. on Sunday and argued with his friend David Latch, who called the police.
Fountain left before police arrived.
Surveillance footage showed Fountain "waving the blade aggressively," the story said. After being questioned by police, Fountain admitted to wielding the blade. He was arraigned and sent to jail.
