Man arrested for passing fake bills at carwash

Beloit, NJ – A local man was arrested for passing $70 in mixed counterfeit bills at the Cranston Car Wash.

Tyler Wohlust allegedly tried to pass off two $20 bills and three $10 bills on at least two separate occasions at then carwash, the Beloit Daily News reported.

Authorities make arrest in carwash owner murder

The bills had no security markings and identical serial numbers.

If found guilty Wohlust faces a $10,000 fine and up to six years in prison.
