7-Eleven files suit against franchisee

BROOKLYN, NY — 7-Eleven Inc. filed a lawsuit last week against Tariq Kahn, franchisee of five Long Island stores. The suit alleges Kahn, his wife and son have siphoned thousands of dollars over at least four years.

In the complaint 7-Eleven says the family and employees, operated a “business within a business” diverting cash to buy merchandise inventory from suppliers and failing to report the invoices to 7-Eleven, violating their franchise agreement, according to the cspnet.com story.

Carwash sued for over $100,000

7-Eleven is seeking $1 million in damages.
