Carwash proposal causes rule review

July 8, 2013
MILACA, MN — Milaca City Council will reexamine the residential equivalency charge in the city following questions about the protocols by a person interested in starting a carwash.

According to the Millelacs County Times story City Manager Greg Lerud told council members that carwash technology has changed since they adopted the charge scale in 2008.

The story says the residential equivalency charge would be cost prohibitive for a carwash. A was would be charged “two” for each self-serve bay and “four” for each automatic bay.

The matter has been moved to the council’s agenda for July 18.
