Carwash dryer nearly hits patron

July 16, 2013
SOUTH OXHEY, HERTFORDSHIRE, ENGLAND — A carwash patron avoided potentially serious injury after successfully dodging a falling dryer at an Esso gas station carwash.

Ben Rowe was able to react quickly by putting his Vauxhall in reverse upon seeing the dryer unit become dislodged.

"I reckon it only missed me by five to six inches,” Rowe said in the cars.aol.uk story.
