Residents oppose carwash
GLADSTONE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – Residents of Kin Kora Manufactured Home and Caravan Park are fighting to stop a 24-hour carwash from being built next door.
The group has submitted letters of protest to council saying the carwash would disrupt their lives.
"We bought [the cabin] as a nice, comfortable place to retire, so the last thing we need is loud, thumping cars and young kids doing burnouts with wet tires on their way out at all hours of the night," park resident Dave Murray said in the Gladstone Observer story.
The carwash is still in the nascent stages.
