Another NYC carwash joins union

July 26, 2013
NEW YORK CITY, NY — A seventh carwash in New York City has successfully unionized, the New York Daily News reported.

Employees of the WCA Car Wash voted unanimously to join the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union. They are hoping the move will give them better salaries, job security and protection from the dangerous chemicals they work with daily.
