Carwash rebuilds after tornado, adds LED lights
DEXTER, MI — The Village Car Wash and Laundry reopened after being destroyed by a tornado in 2012.
The Heritage.com story describes the new location as being more accessible than the previous layout. The washers and dryers in the laundromat were able to be refurbished while the carwash was given a makeover with new signs, booms and bay ceilings. The mechanical room equipment was also upgraded along with energy efficient LED lights.
“We are very appreciative of customers returning to the business and the encouragement they have offered,” Owner Cheryl Caffrey said. “It has been a very long process going from destruction to reopening and their smiles and appreciation make a world of difference.”
