Carwash uses oxygen to clean water
TEMPE, AZ — Gaia Water Systems has teamed with Mayer Dev in developing a water purification system using oxygenated water. The system has been implemented at a Tempe carwash.
Dev says his system cleans water so well – without chemicals – that it can be consumed once put through the system.
According to the WPTV News Channel 5 story Dev claims by doubling the amount of oxygen in the water he can kill algae.
Arizona State University engineer Bruce Rittmann disagrees. Rittman says water oxygen levels would have to be higher than what Dev’s system is currently capable.
