September 12, 2013
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A former employee of Tackett’s Mill Car Wash broke several windows to gain entrance to the carwash and took off with cash kept at the location.

Preston Lewis Wilson was arrested in connection to the robbery and charged with destruction of property and arrested.

"The business manager reported to police that the accused, a former employee, broke several windows to the business with a metal bar," said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok in the Patch.com story. "The accused then confronted the manager with the metal bar in hand, at which point, the manager gave the accused an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. The accused then left the area on foot."

Wilson allegedly caused $1,600 in damage to the carwash.
