Convenience store owners seek liquor license

September 24, 2013
PLEASANTON, CA — Owners of a Valero gas station are seeking a zoning change to sell liquor at a proposed 7-Eleven convenience store they plan on opening on the site.

The proposal would expand the current location and also add a carwash at the expense of a full-service repair shop.

In order to obtain the variance the property would have to be zoned as Planned Unit Development-Commercial instead of its current commercial zoning.

The 7-Eleven would be open 24-hours, however they would not be able to sell alcohol from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. according to the Pleasanton Weekly story.
